Dan Stefan Eniceicu, Raghu Mahajan, Chitraang Murdia, Ashoke Sen

TL;DR
This paper calculates multi-instanton contributions to minimal string theory and matrix integrals, demonstrating their equivalence and providing a unified understanding of these non-perturbative effects.
Contribution
It presents the first explicit computation of multi-instanton effects in minimal string theory and their matching with matrix integral results.
Findings
Multi-instanton contributions are explicitly computed.
Results show perfect agreement between string theory and matrix integrals.
Provides insights into non-perturbative phenomena in minimal string models.
Abstract
We compute the normalization of the general multi-instanton contribution to the partition function of minimal string theory and also to the dual two-matrix integral. We find perfect agreement between the two results.
