Lepton mass matrix from double covering of $A_4$ modular flavor symmetry
Hiroshi Okada, Yuta Orikasa

TL;DR
This paper explores a double covering of the modular $A_4$ flavor symmetry to build lepton models, analyzing their predictions for different neutrino mass hierarchies using numerical methods.
Contribution
It introduces a novel double covering of modular $A_4$ symmetry for lepton modeling, providing new insights into neutrino mass hierarchies.
Findings
Predictions vary with normal and inverted hierarchies.
Numerical analysis supports the viability of the models.
Specific parameter ranges match experimental data.
Abstract
We study a double covering of modular flavor symmetry in which we construct lepton models in cases of canonical seesaw and radiative seesaw models. Through square numerical analysis, we show some predictions for the cases, depending on normal and inverted hierarchies.
