TL;DR
This paper predicts the mass spectra and decay properties of higher excited rho mesons using a modified quark model and decay analysis, aiding experimental searches for these elusive particles.
Contribution
It introduces updated theoretical predictions for higher excited rho mesons, combining a modified Godfrey-Isgur model with the $^3P_0$ decay model, improving upon previous work.
Findings
Predicted mass spectra of higher excited rho mesons.
Calculated decay widths and channels.
Provided comparison with experimental hints.
Abstract
Although there are some experimental hints for the higher excited mesons, our knowledge of their properties is much poor theoretically. Based on our recent work about excited mesons [Phys.Rev.D104(2021)034013], we present the mass spectra and decay properties of the higher excited mesons with the modified Godfrey-Isgur quark model and the strong decay model, and compare our predictions with the experimental hints, which should be helpful to search for these higher excited mesons.
