The unambiguous Lorentz-violating induced terms
A. R. Vieira

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that by enforcing momentum routing invariance, the Lorentz-violating terms induced by quantum corrections become uniquely determined, resolving ambiguities related to regularization dependence.
Contribution
It introduces a method to fix surface term ambiguities in Lorentz-violating quantum corrections through momentum routing invariance, ensuring unique induced terms.
Findings
Surface terms depend on regularization but can be fixed
Momentum routing invariance determines unique Lorentz-violating terms
Method resolves ambiguity in quantum correction calculations
Abstract
In this work, we show that surface terms, which map dependence on regularization, can be fixed requiring momentum routing invariance of tadpoles or diagrams with more external legs. This condition makes the Lorentz-violating terms induced by quantum corrections determined and uniques.
