Production of double heavy quarkonium at super $Z$ factory
Qi-Li Liao, Jun Jiang, and Yu-Han Zhao

TL;DR
This paper calculates the production rates of double heavy quarkonium states at future super Z factories within the color singlet model, providing detailed predictions for cross sections, distributions, and uncertainties relevant for experimental detection.
Contribution
It offers the first detailed theoretical predictions for double heavy quarkonium production at super Z factories, including cross sections, distributions, and uncertainty analysis.
Findings
Double B_c mesons have higher cross sections than double bottomonia.
Initial state radiation significantly suppresses cross sections.
Potential model choices greatly affect predicted cross sections.
Abstract
Within the color singlet model, we calculate the exclusive production of double charmonia, double bottomonia, and double mesons at future super factory. The two heavy quarkonia or 's are either two S-wave Fock states (), or one S-wave and one P-wave states (). The top three propagated channels in cross sections for double charmonia are , and . For double bottomonia, they are , and . For double mesons, they are ,, and . The cross sections of double mesons are roughly one order of magnitude larger than those of the double bottomonia, and two orders of magnitude larger than those of the double charmonia. To make it helpful for experimental study, we…
