Vacuum stability of the scalar potential in the compact 341 model
Meriem Djouala, Noureddine Mebarki

TL;DR
This paper derives analytic conditions ensuring the scalar potential in the compact 341 model remains stable and bounded in all directions at the tree level, using copositivity and gauge orbit space concepts.
Contribution
It provides the first analytic necessary and sufficient stability conditions for the scalar potential in the compact 341 model.
Findings
Derived analytic stability conditions for the scalar potential.
Ensured boundedness of the potential in all field directions.
Applied copositivity and gauge orbit space methods.
Abstract
By applying the concepts of copositivity and using the gauge orbit spaces on the scalar potential, we derive analytic necessary and sufficient conditions which guarantee the boundedness of the scalar potential in all the directions in the field space at the tree level in the context of the compact 341 model.
