TL;DR
This paper uses experimental limits on SME coefficients to significantly tighten constraints on generalized uncertainty principle models, improving bounds and establishing anisotropic models.
Contribution
It introduces new bounds on isotropic and anisotropic GUP models by leveraging limits on SME coefficients, advancing the understanding of quantum gravity phenomenology.
Findings
Isotropic GUP bounds improved by a factor of 10^10
Established and constrained anisotropic GUP models
Enhanced the link between GUP and SME experimental limits
Abstract
In this proceedings, I outline recent efforts to constrain models based on generalized uncertainty principles (GUP) using limits on coefficients of the Standard-Model Extension. Two main results are reported: (1) bounds on isotropic GUP models are improved by a factor of compared to previous spectroscopic bounds; and (2) anisotropic GUP models are established and also constrained.
