Janet Talvacchia

TL;DR
This paper introduces a canonical Poisson structure on generalized contact metric spaces to define and distinguish generalized Sasakian structures from other related geometric structures.
Contribution
It defines a new canonical Poisson structure on generalized contact metric spaces and uses it to characterize generalized Sasakian structures.
Findings
Canonical Poisson structure on generalized contact metric spaces
Characterization of generalized Sasakian structures
Distinction from generalized coKähler structures
Abstract
In this paper we define a canonical Poisson structure on a normal generalized contact metric space and use this structure to define a generalized Sasakian structure. We show also that this canonical Poisson structure enables us to distinguish generalized Sasakian structures from generalized coK\"ahler structures.
