Fully symmetric nonequilibrium response of stochastic systems
David Andrieux

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the nonequilibrium response of Markovian stochastic systems can be symmetrized by adjusting affinities, applicable both near and far from equilibrium conditions.
Contribution
It introduces a method to make the nonequilibrium response fully symmetric through affinity variation in the space of stochastic dynamics.
Findings
Response symmetry holds near and far from equilibrium.
Affinity adjustments can symmetrize the response.
Applicable to Markovian stochastic systems.
Abstract
We show that the nonequilibrium response of Markovian dynamics can be made fully symmetric, both near and far from equilibrium. This is achieved by varying the affinities along equivalence classes in the space of stochastic dynamics.
