Search for $CP$ violation using $\hat{T}$-odd correlations in $B^{0} \to p \bar p K^{+} \pi^{-}$ decays
LHCb collaboration

TL;DR
This paper searches for $CP$ and $P$ violation in a specific four-body decay of the $B^{0}$ meson using LHCb data, finding no $CP$ violation but observing $P$-parity violation with high significance.
Contribution
It introduces a novel analysis of triple-product asymmetries in $B^{0} o p ar p K^{+} ho^{-}$ decays to test $CP$ and $P$ violation, utilizing extensive LHCb data.
Findings
No evidence for $CP$ violation was observed.
$P$-parity violation was observed at 5.8 standard deviations.
The analysis provides new constraints on $CP$ and $P$ violation in charmless four-body decays.
Abstract
A search for and violation in charmless four-body decays is performed using triple-product asymmetry observables. It is based on proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of , and TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of fb. The - and -violating asymmetries are measured both in the integrated phase space and in specific regions. No evidence is seen for violation. -parity violation is observed at a significance of 5.8 standard deviations
