Charm Quark Hadronisation Studies In pp Collisions With ALICE
Jeremy Wilkinson (on behalf of the ALICE Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper presents recent measurements of charm baryon production in proton-proton collisions at LHC energies, comparing results with lepton collider data and exploring charm hadronisation and multiplicity dependence.
Contribution
It provides new measurements of charm baryons at low transverse momentum and in p--Pb collisions, enhancing understanding of charm hadronisation in different collision systems.
Findings
Charm baryon yields measured at 5.02 and 13 TeV
First measurement of Λ_c^+ production down to p_T=0 in pp collisions
Charm production cross section and hadronisation fractions in p--Pb
Abstract
In this contribution, the latest results for measurements of charm baryons in proton--proton collisions at and are presented. The production yields of , , , and are shown along with their yield ratios to mesons, and observations about charm hadronisation with respect to previous results from lepton colliders are discussed. Further differential measurements are shown of the yield ratio as a function of charged-particle multiplicity. For the first time, the production of is presented in pp collisions down to , and the total charm production cross section and relative charm hadronisation fractions in p--Pb collisions are computed.
