Jun Shi, Enke Wang, Qian Wang

TL;DR
This paper proposes a novel method using Dalitz plot analysis of the decay $T_{cc}^+ o D^+ D^0 \pi^0$ to determine the isospin of the double-charmed tetraquark candidate, addressing uncertainties due to production limitations.
Contribution
The paper introduces an efficient Dalitz plot-based approach to clarify the isospin of $T_{cc}^+$, applicable to other exotic hadron candidates.
Findings
Method enables isospin determination from decay distributions.
Applicable to other exotic hadron studies.
Addresses limitations due to production asymmetries.
Abstract
Recently, LHCb observed a double-charmed tetraquark candidate and claimed its isospin to be zero due to the absence of . However, the absence of the in LHCb may be due to their low production in collisions, thus the isospin of still needs to be clarified. We propose an efficient way to investigate the isospin property of from the Dalitz plot distribution of . This method can also be applied to other exotic candidates.
