Neutron oscillation and Baryogenesis from six dimensions
Mathew Thomas Arun, Debajyoti Choudhury

TL;DR
This paper proposes a six-dimensional orbifold model where neutron-antineutron oscillations are observable, proton decay is suppressed, and baryogenesis occurs at around 10 TeV, offering a unified approach to these phenomena.
Contribution
It introduces a novel six-dimensional orbifold framework with localized quarks and leptons that explains neutron oscillations, suppresses proton decay, and accounts for baryogenesis at accessible energy scales.
Findings
Observable neutron-antineutron oscillation predicted.
Proton decay rates naturally suppressed.
Baryogenesis feasible at approximately 10 TeV.
Abstract
Considering a six-dimensional geometry orbifolded on with quarks and leptons localised on orthogonal branes, we show that the construction admits observable oscillation while naturally suppressing the proton decay rates. Consistent with other low-energy observables, the model also accommodates baryogenesis at (10 TeV) scale.
