Maksim Zhykhovich

TL;DR
This paper investigates the J-invariant of semi-simple algebraic groups over splitting fields related to Tits algebras, providing a description in terms of the J-invariant over the base field.
Contribution
It offers a new description of the J-invariant over splitting fields of Tits algebras in relation to the base field's J-invariant.
Findings
Expressed the J-invariant over splitting fields via the base field's J-invariant.
Connected the J-invariant of algebraic groups with Tits algebras.
Enhanced understanding of algebraic group invariants in splitting field contexts.
Abstract
We describe the J-invariant of a semi-simple algebraic group G over a generic splitting field of a Tits algebra of G in terms of the J-invariant over a base field.
