On Perturbation theory for the Fokker--Planck equation
Francisco M. Fern\'andez

TL;DR
This paper examines the application of the Modified Homotopy Perturbation Method to the Fokker-Planck equation, highlighting that the examples used are not physically relevant.
Contribution
It critically analyzes the use of a perturbation method on the Fokker-Planck equation and questions the physical applicability of previous examples.
Findings
Examples lack physical relevance
Method's applicability is limited to non-physical cases
Highlights need for physically meaningful problem selection
Abstract
We discuss a recent application of the Modified Homotopy Perturbation Method to the Fokker--Planck equation and show that the selected examples do not have any connection with actual physical problems.
