Compatibility of muon $g-2$, $W$ mass anomaly in type-X 2HDM
Jongkuk Kim

TL;DR
This paper investigates whether the type-X 2HDM can simultaneously explain the recent anomalies in the W boson mass and muon g-2 measurements, analyzing parameter space constraints and implications for Higgs decays.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of the type-X 2HDM parameter space that can accommodate both anomalies and discusses the impact of Higgs decay measurements on model viability.
Findings
Parameter space consistent with muon g-2 and W mass anomalies identified.
Strong lower bound on $m_H$ from $h o AA$ decay constraints.
Model remains viable within certain $(m_A, aneta)$ regions.
Abstract
Recently CDF II Collaboration reported that they measured W boson mass precisely. The measurement is deviated from the Standard Model (SM) Prediction at 7. Also, the recent FNAL measurement of the muon magnetic moment shows a deviation. To resolve the W boson as well as the muon anomalies, we explore the type-X two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). We analyze the parameter space of the type-X 2HDM consistent with the muon , lepton universality test and recent boson mass measurments from the CDF II collaboration. We find that the measurement of the branching ratio gives a strong lower mass bound on .
