Measurement of $CP$ asymmetries in $D^+_{(s)}\rightarrow \eta \pi^+$ and $D^+_{(s)}\rightarrow \eta^{\prime} \pi^+$ decays
LHCb Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of $CP$ asymmetries in specific $D^+$ and $D_s^+$ meson decays, finding results consistent with no $CP$ violation, using LHCb data to improve sensitivity.
Contribution
First precise measurements of $CP$ asymmetries in $D^+_{(s)} ightarrow ext{eta} ext{pi}^+$ and $ ext{eta'} ext{pi}^+$ decays, utilizing calibration channels to control systematic uncertainties.
Findings
Measured $CP$ asymmetries are consistent with zero within uncertainties.
Results are the most precise for three of the four decay channels studied.
Combined with previous data, no evidence of $CP$ violation is observed.
Abstract
Searches for violation in the decays and are performed using collision data corresponding to 6 fb of integrated luminosity collected by the LHCb experiment. The calibration channels are used to remove production and detection asymmetries. The resulting -violating asymmetries are , , , , where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic and the third, relevant for the channels, is due to the uncertainty on $A^{CP}(D^+ \to \phi…
