Comment on the "Significance of Electromagnetic Potentials in the Quantum Theory"
Siddhant Das

TL;DR
This paper addresses a mathematical correction to the wave functions in the Aharonov-Bohm effect, ensuring their single-valuedness without altering the physical conclusions.
Contribution
It identifies and corrects a missing angle-dependent factor in the wave functions related to magnetic flux, clarifying the mathematical consistency of the original results.
Findings
Corrected wave functions are now single-valued
Physical conclusions of the original paper remain unchanged
Highlights importance of mathematical precision in quantum phase calculations
Abstract
A missing angle-dependent prefactor in the wave functions for half-integer magnetic flux obtained in [Y. Aharonov and D. Bohm, Phys. Rev. 115, 485 (1959)] is supplied, without which the result is not single-valued. No physical conclusions of the paper are affected.
