Navier-Stokes equations: a new estimate of a possible gap related to the energy equality of a suitable weak solution
Paolo Maremonti, Francesca Crispo, Carlo Romano Grisanti

TL;DR
This paper investigates the potential discrepancy between energy equality and inequality in weak solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations, providing new estimates that build on previous research.
Contribution
It introduces a novel estimate of the possible gap between energy equality and inequality for weak solutions of Navier-Stokes equations.
Findings
New estimate of the energy gap for weak solutions
Extension of previous results by the authors
Improved understanding of energy behavior in Navier-Stokes solutions
Abstract
The paper is concerned with the IBVP of the Navier-Stokes equations. The result of the paper is in the wake of analogous results obtained by the authors in previous articles [4, 5]. The goal is to estimaste the possible gap between the energy equality and the energy inequality deduced for a weak solution.
