Abstract
Currently, robotics is one of the fastest growing areas not only in the industrial sector but also in the consumer and service sectors. Several areas benefit from the technological advancement of robotics, especially the industrial area those benefits from gains in productivity and quality. However, to supply this growing demand it is necessary for the newly graduated professionals to have a deeper understanding of how to design and control a robotic manipulator. It is logical that in order to obtain this more in-depth knowledge of robotics, it is necessary to have an experience with a real robotic manipulator, since the practice is a much more efficient way of learning than theory. However, it is known that a robotic arm is not a cheap investment, and its maintenance is not cheap either.
