TL;DR
This paper models semileptonic decays of various mesons in ground and excited states using an extended NJL framework, providing results consistent with data and predicting new decay modes.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive NJL model approach to describe semileptonic meson decays including excited states, with consideration of anomalous quark loops and novel decay predictions.
Findings
Results agree with existing experimental data.
Predictions for unmeasured decays of radially excited mesons.
Inclusion of anomalous quark loops enhances model accuracy.
Abstract
In the extended NJL model, semileptonic decays of , , , and mesons in both the ground and first radially excited states are described. Quark loops of the anomalous type are considered, which are based on the vertex . The obtained results are in satisfactory agreement with the existing experimental data. In addition, a number of predictions for experimentally unmeasured decays of radially excited mesons are presented.
