Shan Cheng, Yao-hui Ju, Qin Qin, Fu-sheng Yu

TL;DR
This paper calculates the $D_s^{ ext{*}} o \phi$ helicity form factors using QCD LCSRs and explores the potential for experimental observation of rare weak decays of the $D_s^{ ext{*}}$ meson, offering new tests of the Standard Model.
Contribution
First QCD LCSR calculation of $D_s^{ ext{*}} o \phi$ helicity form factors and analysis of experimental prospects for observing weak decays of the $D_s^{ ext{*}}$ meson.
Findings
Calculated partial decay widths for various $D_s^{ ext{*}}$ decay channels.
Identified promising channels for future experimental detection.
Provided theoretical predictions to guide experimental searches.
Abstract
The decay width of the meson is dominated by the electromagnetic mode , and it is thus the longest-lived charged vector meson. In light of this point, we perform the first QCD LCSRs calculation of helicity form factors and discuss the experiment potential of discovering exclusive weak decays. The main result is the partial decay widths, which read as , , and . We show that these channels are promising in the near future, serving as the first experimental observation of weak decays of a…
