Contribution
It identifies and characterizes a novel class of fermions using eigenvectors of a square root of the identity, expanding the theoretical framework of fermionic fields.
Findings
New class of fermions identified
Eigenvector-based expansion coefficients proposed
Potential for local field applications
Abstract
In this paper, we advance in investigating a specific set of eigenvectors of a linearly-independent square root of the identity matrix to obtain a new class of spin-half mass-dimension one fermions. Such eigenvectors, after an appropriated dual structure examination, may serve as expansion coefficients of a local field.
