Tissana Assawasowan, Parinya Karndumri

TL;DR
This paper constructs new supersymmetric Janus solutions in N=4 gauged supergravity, revealing novel holographic duals to conformal defects in N=4 Chern-Simons-matter theories with specific symmetry properties.
Contribution
It introduces new classes of Janus solutions with N=1 and N=2 supersymmetry, including the first examples involving non-trivial AdS4 vacua in N=4 gauged supergravity.
Findings
N=2 solutions interpolate between N=4 AdS4 vacua with SO(4)×SO(4) symmetry.
N=1 solutions include two families of Janus configurations with different symmetry breakings.
First Janus solutions involving non-trivial AdS4 vacua beyond the trivial critical point.
Abstract
We study gauged supergravity with gauge group in the presence of symplectic deformations and find new classes of Janus solutions preserving and supersymmetries. The solutions preserve symmetry and interpolate between supersymmetric vacua with symmetry. These correspond holographically to two-dimensional conformal defects within the dual CSM theories with symmetry. The solutions contain two families of Janus configurations, one interpolating between vacua with symmetry and the other interpolating between vacua with symmetry. These respectively describe conformal defects in CSM theories with and $SO(3)\times…
