Quantum Reissner-Nordstr\"om geometry: singularity and Cauchy horizon
R. Casadio, A. Giusti, J. Ovalle

TL;DR
This paper introduces a quantum model of charged black holes using graviton coherent states, showing that quantum effects eliminate the classical singularity and Cauchy horizon, thus altering the traditional black hole structure.
Contribution
It provides a novel quantum framework for charged black holes that removes classical singularities and Cauchy horizons through graviton coherent states.
Findings
Central singularity is not realized in the quantum model.
Cauchy horizon is absent in the quantum description.
Quantum effects modify classical black hole structure.
Abstract
We present a quantum description of electrically charged spherically symmetric black holes given by coherent states of gravitons in which both the central singularity and the Cauchy horizon are not realised.
