The odderon discovery by the D0 and TOTEM collaborations
Christophe Royon

TL;DR
The paper reports the discovery of the odderon, a colorless C-odd gluonic state, through analysis of elastic scattering data from the D0 and TOTEM collaborations, providing evidence for a long-sought QCD phenomenon.
Contribution
It presents the first experimental evidence for the odderon by comparing proton-proton and proton-antiproton scattering data at high energies.
Findings
Identification of differences in elastic cross sections between pp and p̄p interactions.
Experimental confirmation of the odderon as a C-odd gluonic compound.
Supports QCD predictions of the odderon’s existence.
Abstract
We describe the discovery of the colorless -odd gluonic compound, the odderon, by the D0 and TOTEM Collaborations by comparing elastic differential cross sections measured in and interactions at high energies.
