Improved Spectral Representations of Neutron-Star Equations of State
Lee Lindblom

TL;DR
This paper enhances spectral methods for modeling neutron-star equations of state, improving their efficiency and accuracy through a simple modification, aiding better understanding of high-density neutron-star matter.
Contribution
It introduces a straightforward change to spectral representations that significantly improves their performance in modeling neutron-star equations of state.
Findings
Enhanced spectral representations show increased accuracy.
The method reduces computational complexity.
Improved models better capture high-density physics.
Abstract
Spectral representations have been shown to provide an efficient way to represent the poorly understood high-density portion of the neutron-star equation of state. This paper shows how the efficiency and accuracy of those representations can be improved by a very simple change.
