Feedback-enabled Microwave Quantum Illumination
Mehri Sadat Ebrahimi, Stefano Zippilli, David Vitali

TL;DR
This paper presents a feedback scheme for microwave quantum illumination using electro-optomechanical systems, enabling efficient operation even with high dissipation where classical methods fail.
Contribution
It introduces a feedback-enabled approach that allows microwave quantum illumination to outperform classical protocols under high dissipation conditions.
Findings
Feedback scheme improves quantum illumination efficiency.
Operates effectively in high dissipation regimes.
Outperforms classical illumination with same energy.
Abstract
A simple feedback scheme can be used to operate efficiently a microwave-quantum-illumination device based on electro-optomechanical systems also in regimes in which excess dissipation would, otherwise, prevent to outperform the optimal classical illumination protocol with the same transmitted energy.
