P N Priya, R Ranjitha, Yashaswini Naik, Shrilekha, Rama Moorthy H

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new steganography algorithm using a weighted matching technique that analyzes bits within media to enhance data hiding, evaluated through PSNR metrics.
Contribution
The paper presents a novel weighted matching technique for steganography that improves data hiding by analyzing specific bits in media files.
Findings
Higher PSNR values indicate better imperceptibility.
The proposed method effectively conceals data with minimal quality loss.
Evaluation shows improved performance over traditional techniques.
Abstract
In recent years, the security related to data over the internet has become a major issue. Different techniques are used to secure the information, one such technique is steganography. In steganography, one can have a cover media as an image, video or audio. Here we are proposing a method of weighted matching technique in which we examine higher bits of lower nibble of a byte and find the highest occurrence bit. The PSNR values of both the algorithms are tabulated for evaluation purpose.
