David Licht, Raimon Luna, Ryotaku Suzuki

TL;DR
This paper investigates the phase structure of non-uniform black branes on oblique lattices in high dimensions, identifying preferred phases and metastability regions across various lattice configurations.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive analysis of black brane phases on oblique lattices at large dimensions, expanding understanding of their thermodynamic behavior.
Findings
Phase diagrams vary with lattice periodicity and angle.
Certain phases become metastable at specific angles.
Preferred phases depend on lattice configuration.
Abstract
We explore the phase space of non-uniform black branes compactified on oblique lattices with a large number of dimensions. We find the phase diagrams for different periodicities and angles, and determine the thermodynamically preferred phases for each lattice configuration. In a range of angles, we observe that some phases become metastable.
