TL;DR
This paper presents a method to retrieve and correct aberrations in Bessel beams generated by non-ideal axicons using intensity measurements and wavefront correction with a deformable mirror.
Contribution
It introduces a novel technique for complex amplitude retrieval of Bessel beams solely from intensity data, enabling wavefront correction.
Findings
Successful retrieval of complex amplitude from intensity measurements
Effective correction of wavefront aberrations in Bessel beams
Improved beam quality after correction
Abstract
Bessel beams generated with non-ideal axicons are affected by aberrations. We introduce a method to retrieve the complex amplitude of a Bessel beam from intensity measurements alone, and then use this information to correct the wavefront and intensity profile using a deformable mirror.
