Vortices in polar and $\beta$ phases of $^3$He
G.E. Volovik

TL;DR
This paper explores the formation and evolution of vortices in superfluid helium-3 as it transitions through different topological phases, highlighting the changes in vortex lattice structure.
Contribution
It introduces the study of vortex lattice evolution during the phase transition from polar to beta phase in superfluid helium-3.
Findings
Half-quantum vortices are formed in rotating cryostats.
Vortex lattice evolves during the phase transition.
The transition involves a spin-polarized polar phase.
Abstract
Recently new topological phase of superfluid He has been discovered -- the phase, which is obtained by strong polarization of the nematic polar phase. We consider half-quantum vortices, which are formed in rotating cryostat, and discuss the evolution of the vortex lattice in the process of the transition from the polar phase to the -phase via the spin-polarized polar phase.
