Bing Chen, Si-Qiang Luo, Ke-Wei Wei, and Xiang Liu

TL;DR
This study explores the spectral similarities between double bottom baryons and bottom mesons, analyzing their masses and decays to interpret recent experimental states and predict properties of unobserved states.
Contribution
It introduces a unified theoretical approach to compare $bbq$ baryons and $ar{b}q$ mesons, providing insights into their spectral similarities and interpreting recent experimental discoveries.
Findings
$B_J(5840)$ likely a 2S state
$B_J(5970)$ possibly a 1D doublet member
$B_{sJ}(6064)$ and $B_{sJ}(6114)$ are probably D-wave states
Abstract
The dynamical similarity which exists between the -mode excited baryons ( refers to the , , and quarks) and the mesons inspires us to carry out a combined study of their spectroscopy. In this work, the masses and strong decays of these low-lying and states are studied by the same theoretical methods, and the dynamical similarity which is implied in their mass spectra and strong decays are also discussed. The recent discovered states, including the , , , and , are analyzed. According to our result, the could be assigned as a 2 state, while the could be regarded as a member of the doublet. The and are probably the -wave states. Especially, they could be explained as the members of the…
