Something about Poisson and Dirichlet
Steven R. Bell, Luis Reyna de la Torre

TL;DR
This paper presents an elementary solution to the Dirichlet problem in the unit disc, deriving the Poisson formula and simplifying related foundational concepts in complex analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a straightforward approach to solving the Dirichlet problem and simplifies key aspects of complex analysis foundations.
Findings
Elementary derivation of the Poisson formula
Simplified solutions to the Dirichlet problem
Enhanced understanding of complex analysis foundations
Abstract
We solve the Dirichlet problem in the unit disc and derive the Poisson formula using very elementary methods and explore consequent simplifications in other foundational areas of complex analysis.
