Rigorous Computation of Linear Response for Intermittent Maps
Isaia Nisoli, Toby Taylor-Crush

TL;DR
This paper introduces a rigorous numerical method to accurately compute the linear response of invariant densities in maps with indifferent fixed points, providing explicit error bounds and constants.
Contribution
It develops a novel numerical scheme that rigorously approximates linear response for intermittent maps, including explicit error estimates.
Findings
Validated the numerical scheme with explicit error bounds.
Achieved accurate approximation of linear response in intermittent maps.
Provided a framework for rigorous computation with quantified uncertainties.
Abstract
We present a rigorous numerical scheme for the approximation of the linear response of the invariant density of a map with an indifferent fixed point, with explicit and computed estimates for the error and all the involved constants.
