Hui-Hui Duan, Yong-Lu Liu, Ming-Qiu Huang

TL;DR
This paper calculates the form factors for the semileptonic decay of $\\Xi_c$ baryons using light-cone QCD sum rules, and predicts branching ratios consistent with experimental data, testing lepton flavor universality.
Contribution
It provides the first calculation of all six form factors for $\\Xi_c \\to \\Xi$ transitions using light-cone QCD sum rules with up to twist six distribution amplitudes.
Findings
Predicted branching ratios agree with recent experiments.
Confirmed lepton flavor universality in these decays.
Provided detailed form factors for future theoretical studies.
Abstract
Semileptonic decay processes of are studied by light-cone QCD sum rules in this paper. The six form factors of semileptonic transition matrix elements are calculated by this method with the light-cone distribution amplitudes of baryon up to twist six. With the six form factors, the absolute branching ratios of and are calculated by the helicity amplitudes formalism of semileptonic differential decay widths. The ratios of absolute branching ratios of electron and muon final states processes give the proof of lepton flavor universality. Our results are in accordance with the recent experimental and theoretical reports.
