TL;DR
This paper predicts the mass and decay widths of a potential hidden-charm double strange pentaquark state using QCD sum rules, aiding future experimental searches for such exotic particles.
Contribution
It provides the first mass prediction and decay width analysis of the $P_{css}$ pentaquark candidate using QCD sum rule methods.
Findings
Mass of $P_{css}$ estimated as 4600 ± 155 MeV.
Partial decay widths for two channels calculated.
Total width of the state found to be approximately 12.3 MeV.
Abstract
This work presents an analysis of a hidden charmed pentaquark candidate state with double strange quark in its quark content. The investigation is performed in two parts, which provide the mass prediction of the considered state and its partial decay widths for the and channels. For the analyses, two-point and three-point QCD sum rule methods are applied to get the mass and the widths, respectively. The mass for this candidate state is obtained as MeV with corresponding current coupling constant GeV. These results are used in the analysis of the partial widths of this state for the decays and . From these decays, the total width is obtained as …
