TL;DR
This paper uses $SU(3)$ symmetry and recent Belle data to analyze charmless two-body decays of anti-triplet charmed baryons, providing predictions and testing the symmetry's validity with future experiments.
Contribution
It presents a comprehensive global fit of decay amplitudes using $SU(3)$ symmetry, incorporating new experimental data and predicting unknown decay parameters.
Findings
A good fit with all amplitudes real ($ ext{chi}^2/ ext{d.o.f} = 0.773$).
Predictions for unknown branching fractions and polarization asymmetries.
$SU(3)$ symmetry is a reasonable approximation for these decays.
Abstract
Recently Belle collaboration reported new measurements for the branching fractions with the first observing two processes of , and updating data for . Combined with other known data on charmless two body decays of anti-triplet charmed baryons, a lot of information can be derived with the assistance of flavour symmetry. Using relations between different decay modes, we can give some predictions based on the new measurements which can be tested with the high luminosity experiments in the future. More interestingly, we find that a global fit is now possible with the addition of new Belle data. In general, there are 18 complex invariant amplitudes. We find that a scenario of all amplitudes being real can fit the data well with a only…
