TL;DR
This paper calculates next-to-leading-order QCD corrections for $Z$ boson decays into $ta_Q$ mesons via the $gg$ process, revealing significant enhancements and influence on energy distributions, thus emphasizing its importance in theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It introduces the first detailed NLO QCD correction analysis for the $Z o ta_Q + g + g$ process, highlighting its substantial impact on inclusive $ta_Q$ production predictions.
Findings
QCD corrections significantly enhance the $gg$ process results.
The $gg$ process greatly increases the predicted $ta_Q$ decay width.
The $gg$ process influences the energy distribution of $ta_Q$ in $Z$ decays.
Abstract
In this paper, we carry out the next-to-leading-order QCD corrections to (labeled as ) through the color-singlet (CS) state of , with the aim of assessing the impact of this process on bosons decaying into inclusive . We find that the QCD corrections to the process can notably enhance its leading-order results, especially for the case, which would then greatly increase the existing predictions of given by the CS-dominant process . Moreover, with these significant QCD corrections, the process would exert crucial influence on the CS-predicted energy distributions. In conclusion, in the CS studies of , besides , can provide phenomenologically…
