A. Fatima, M. Sajjad Athar, S. K. Singh

TL;DR
This paper investigates T-violation effects and SU(3) symmetry breaking in tau neutrino and antineutrino quasielastic scattering, analyzing their impact on cross sections and polarization, with potential observability in upcoming experiments.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed study of T-violation and SU(3) symmetry breaking effects in tau neutrino quasielastic scattering, highlighting their influence on measurable observables.
Findings
T-violation effects significantly alter polarization observables.
SU(3) symmetry breaking impacts total cross sections.
Effects are potentially observable in future neutrino experiments.
Abstract
The production cross sections and polarization observables of the leptons produced in the and induced quasielastic scattering have been studied. The effect of T violation, in the case of and 1 processes, and the SU(3) symmetry breaking effects, in the case of processes, on the total scattering cross sections as well polarization observables are explored. Experimentally, it would be possible to observe these effects in the forthcoming (anti)neutrino experiments like DUNE, SHiP and DsTau.
