Metodi Iterativi per Sistemi Lineari
Luigi Brugnano, Cecilia Magherini

TL;DR
This paper provides comprehensive lecture notes on iterative methods for solving linear systems, covering fundamental concepts suitable for students with basic numerical linear algebra knowledge.
Contribution
It offers a self-contained, corrected set of lecture notes that systematically present iterative techniques for linear systems, filling educational gaps in the Italian academic context.
Findings
Detailed explanation of iterative algorithms
Clarification of convergence criteria
Educational resource for students and educators
Abstract
These are the lecture notes (in Italian) of a course held in Perugia, Italy, during the summer 2002. They concern the basic facts on the iterative solution of linear systems. The course is self-contained and requires only basic knowledge of numerical linear algebra. This is a corrected version of the original lecture notes, and are dedicated to the memory of Cecilia Magherini.
