Fixed points and Langlands parameter spaces for real groups
R. Virk

TL;DR
This paper shows that Langlands parameter spaces for real groups can be understood as homotopy fixed points of the spaces related to their complex counterparts, providing a new perspective on their structure.
Contribution
It introduces a description of Langlands parameter spaces for real groups as homotopy fixed points, linking real and complex group parameter spaces in a novel way.
Findings
Langlands parameter spaces for real groups are homotopy fixed points of complex group spaces.
Provides a new geometric interpretation of real group parameters.
Bridges the understanding between real and complex Langlands parameters.
Abstract
This note records that the Langlands parameter spaces, associated by Adams- Barbasch-Vogan to a real group, may be described as homotopy fixed points (fixed point stacks) of the spaces associated to the corresponding complex group.
