Turkuler Durgut, Hari K. Kunduri

TL;DR
This paper constructs new supersymmetric soliton solutions in five-dimensional gauged supergravity with multiple charges, extending previous models, and discusses their stability properties.
Contribution
It introduces a broad class of supersymmetric multi-charge solitons in AdS$_5$, generalizing earlier $U(1)^3$ solutions, and analyzes their ergosurfaces and potential instabilities.
Findings
Solutions contain evanescent ergosurfaces
Solitons are likely nonlinearly unstable
Generalizes previous $U(1)^3$ supergravity solitons
Abstract
We construct supersymmetric, asymptotically AdS gravitational soliton solutions of five-dimensional gauged supergravity coupled to arbitrarily many vector multiplets. These generalize the supersymmetric solitons of gauged supergravity previously constructed by Chong, Cvetic, Lu, and Pope. We show that the solitons contain evanescent ergosurfaces and give an argument that these solitons should be nonlinearly unstable.
