Contribution
It provides a new geometric construction of 4D $ =1$ SCFTs on S-folds with T-branes using global K3 hypersurfaces, bypassing traditional Weierstrass methods.
Findings
T-branes break $ =2$ to $ =1$ supersymmetry in S-fold SCFTs.
Constructs 4D $ =1$ SCFTs from global K3 geometries with complex multiplication.
Analyzes the AdS duals and supersymmetry breaking effects from geometric and holographic viewpoints.
Abstract
We study AdS duals of four-dimensional (4D) superconformal field theories (SCFTs) on S-folds with T-branes that flow to 4D theories. In a previous study, it was discussed how considering T-brane structure breaks the supersymmetry in 4D SCFTs on S-folds down to . In this study, we analyze this effect from the AdS perspective. We also discuss the constructions of 4D SCFTs on S-folds with T-branes starting from global K3 hypersurfaces whose fibers involve complex multiplications. We choose an approach to directly analyze the global K3 geometry without relying on the standard Weierstrass technique.
