TL;DR
This paper investigates the spatial distribution of color fields around a static quark-antiquark pair in full QCD, focusing on the nonperturbative component responsible for confinement.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed measurement of all components of the color fields in full QCD with (2+1) HISQ flavors, isolating the nonperturbative longitudinal chromoelectric field.
Findings
Identified the nonperturbative longitudinal chromoelectric field component.
Mapped the spatial distribution of all color field components.
Enhanced understanding of the confinement mechanism in full QCD.
Abstract
We measure the spatial distribution of all components of the color fields surrounding a static quark antiquark pair in QCD with (2+1) HISQ flavors. We isolate the nonperturbative component of the longitudinal chromoelectric color field responsible for the linear term in the confining potential.
