A.H. Gevorgyan

TL;DR
This paper reports the observation of Dirac points in helically structured 1D photonic crystals, providing analytical formulas for their frequencies and dispersion relations, with and without magnetic fields.
Contribution
It introduces the first observation of Dirac points in this specific photonic crystal structure and derives analytical formulas for their properties.
Findings
Dirac points observed in helically structured 1D photonic crystals
Analytical formulas for Dirac point frequencies and dispersion relations derived
Dirac points present both with and without magnetic field
Abstract
We reported about observation of Dirac points in a helically structured 1D photonic crystals, moreover, both as in the presence of longitudinal magnetic field as its absence. We obtained analytical formulas for Dirac points frequencies and the analytical dispersion relations for wave vectors.
