Abstract
In this proceedings, we present our first measurements of meson and hyperon production in Au+Au collisions at = 3 GeV. Various models including thermal and transport model calculations are compared to data, these results imply that the matter produced in the 3 GeV Au+Au collisions is considerably different from that at higher energies.
