TL;DR
This paper predicts the existence and decay properties of open charm hexaquark states composed of ${ m ext{Sigma}}_c^{(*)}$ baryons, providing theoretical guidance for future experimental searches following recent discoveries in the field.
Contribution
It introduces a systematic study of masses and decay widths of ${ m ext{Sigma}}_c^{(*)}$ hexaquark states, incorporating heavy quark spin symmetry breaking and effective Lagrangian methods.
Findings
Predicted several bound states with different isospins.
Estimated decay widths ranging from a few MeV to tens of MeV.
Recommended experimental searches in $ ext{Lambda}_c ext{Lambda}_c$ invariant mass distributions.
Abstract
Inspired by the recent discovery of the doubly charmed tetraquark state by the LHCb Collaboration, we perform a systematic study of masses and strong decays of open charm hexaquark states . Taking into account heavy quark spin symmetry breaking, we predict several bound states of isospin , , and in the one boson exchange model. Moreover, we adopt the effective Lagrangian approach to estimate the decay widths of and their relevant ratios via the triangle diagram mechanism, which range from a few MeV to a few tens of MeV. We strongly recommend future experimental searches for the hexaquark states in the invariant mass distributions.
