TL;DR
This paper presents recent high-precision measurements of nucleon time-like form factors and hyperon pair production at BESIII, advancing understanding of baryon structure through electron-positron collision experiments.
Contribution
It reports new experimental results on nucleon form factors and hyperon production using innovative techniques at BESIII, providing valuable data for baryon structure studies.
Findings
Precise measurements of $e^+e^- o p ar{p}$ and $e^+e^- o n ar{n}$ processes.
Observation of $ ext{Sigma}$ polarization in $e^+e^- o J/ ext{psi} o ext{Sigma}^+ ar{ ext{Sigma}}^-$.
Enhanced understanding of nucleon and hyperon electromagnetic form factors.
Abstract
The BESIII experiment, based on the BEPCII collider at IHEP in Beijing, China, is capable of measuring nucleon form factors with unprecedented precision. We report recent results achieved by the BESIII collaboration concerning the nucleon time-like form factors and the hyperon pair production. More in detail we outline the results obtained by the study of the process , using both the scan-energy and initial-state radiation techniques, those of the process , and the study of the polarization regarding the process .
