Production of charmed baryon $\Lambda_c(2860)$ via low energy antiproton-proton interaction
Qing-Yong Lin, Xiang Liu

TL;DR
This study predicts the production cross section of the charmed baryon Λ_c(2860) in low-energy antiproton-proton collisions using an effective Lagrangian approach, providing estimates for event rates at the PANDA experiment.
Contribution
The paper presents the first calculation of the Λ_c(2860) production cross section in p̄p collisions with detailed Dalitz plot and invariant mass analyses, aiding future experimental searches.
Findings
Total cross section may reach about 10 μb.
Approximately 10^8 Λ_c(2860) events can be produced per day at PANDA.
Dalitz plot and invariant mass spectrum analyses are provided.
Abstract
In the present work, we study the production problem of the charmed baryon at ANDA. With the assignment to , an effective Lagrangian approach is adopted to calculate the cross section of . The Dalitz plot analysis and the invariant mass spectrum distribution are also given for the process. The numerical results show that the total cross section may reach up to about 10 b. With the designed luminosity of ANDA (), about events can be expected per day by reconstructing the final .
